Umm.. Caledon again?

Yup, back to Caledon. Hell, its just such a pretty place, we cant keep away from it. Well actually I can't keep away from it, my mom always wants to go somewhere else. Well here are some pix of the new fall look, I was a bit dissapointed because I wanted more colours, but we might have been a bit late, most trees were bare already. Well the pond pix are from the same pond that I took photos of back in august, you can see the big change. Again, it was weird and cloudy, but hell with that, I love cloudy too 
Last couple pix has one of a church, and two of this house. The church is just pretty, but my mom adores the house, she wants to bring it back to the city or something . Oh, and the power line things, ive always wanted to take a pic of that, they just go on forever o_O..

City Life

Today we went to downtown Toronto, down to Queen st. West. We had two hours to do absolutely anything. I went to speakers corner, which is a public rant booth where anyone can pay a buck, rant their lungs out and if you're lucky, it might be on tv. I was shoved in there against my wishes, so I ranted mindlessly about stupid talentless singers that are making it big in the music industry. But anyway, there were people milling around everywhere, it was hard to find one empty spot. We went to lotsa different little shops, varying from shoe stores to a whole store dedicated to pins, patches and buttons. My favorite by far was Steve's Music store, with a wiiiide arrangement of guitars, drums, basses and amps. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Well technically I am a kid, so a kid in a music store really. I wish I got a pic of that one, special fender stratocaster that's missing in my life.. but I saw the staff were giving me shifty looks because I was holding the camera so.. I didnt do it. But yeah, most pix are in black and white because I find it looks cool that way , but there are a couple I just cant put in black and white so.. enjoy.

Again to Caledon!

I LOVE Caledon.  Such beautiful little areas with little ponds and pretty forests. My mom and I's thing to do on her days off are just to drive up to where there arent any more street lights or rows of houses and immerse ourselves in raw nature... or as raw nature as we can find.  Somehow to me, spending my days shopping downtown does not satisfy me. I'd rather spend areas in small towns and open country.
As we drove I took pix of things that interested me, like the clouds and the farmlands. My mom couldnt stop because 1. No place to stop. 2. There's always one idiot practically inches from our bumper behind us. Rush rush rush, one thing I hate about the city. So anyway, naturally when i'm taking pix from behind the windshield, I get reflection of the dashboard. Just lovely. 
We went to this place full of red hills. "The Badlands" they call it.  The ground is crumbly and practically nothing grows in there. Product of years of erosion and stuff, cant remember what it said on the information sign thingy.
Right before we were turning back to go home my mom found this cute little.. pond I guess you'd call it. Sad thing is that right beside the pond they were doing massive construction. Probly putting up a mall or something.  So I guess in time that pond will be gone. Bahhh.
It's sad seeing such beauty being destroyed by commercial plazas and blocks of housing. Like a slow disease that eventually will consume all. The most captivating and breathtaking sights replaced with stupid.. crappy Mcdonalds and Burger Kings. One day i'm going to discover some remote island far from any city and live there and never come back And if there aren't any islands left for discovering.. well I can dream right? xD

Yesterday me and my mom took a drive up to the caledon area, went to all the little antique shops and stopped anywhere that was pretty.. so I took these. Most of them while raining.
But yeah the antique shops were awesome.. we bought some.. cats. I saw the blue one and I thought it was cute, but the standing up one just freaks me out, my mom liked that one. And she put it by the front door so whenever I come in I start screaming. Especially when its dark. I swear that thing is gonna come alive and kill us all with its golf club.

Yay I got me one of these nifty pages. w00t. But yeah this is from my birthday (aug 7th). We didnt take any fotos of us because I didnt take out the cam until the last moment when everyone was packing stuff away to go home, so I just ran around taking fotos like mad.
